Also, to the person who coded this open-source remake, I am absolutely blown away at the amount of time you must have put into this. I've been doing web development for ~6 years and recently have been diving into Unity.
I took a look at the github repo and my jaw dropped. The renderer is 2k+ LOC alone! Holy moly. I would LOVE to pick your brain about how you developed this. If you're in the bay area I'll get you a beer/coffee.
